Meet The Team

Matt Mihilewicz

President, Head of DOP & Editing, Writer and DM for D4G

Matt Mihilewicz is the president and founder of Fish in Suits Entertainment. For the last 15+ years, Matt has worked as a creative in a multitude of ways. He’s worked as an actor and has trained at both Vancouver Film School and the University of Alberta, earning a diploma in Acting for Film and Television from the former, and a BFA in Acting from the latter. He’s written various pieces and scripts for theatre, film, video games, and has written and self published a sci-fi/fantasy novel, The Chronicles of AzzaNation: Dawn of a New Age.

Matt first had the idea for a skit show called Fish in Suits back in 2012 while he was studying at VFS. The idea never came to fruition back then, but, over the years, Matt kept working at it and eventually was able to find a like-minded team who shared his vision in creating absurd and compelling art. He is so excited to bring the work of Fish in Suits Entertainment to the public and hopes that you come along for the ride and have some laughs along the way!

Jordan Lesko

Writer and DM for D4G, Producer, Assistant Editor

Graduating from Vancouver Film School, Jordan pursued a career as an actor and writer, developing scripts for films, short stories, sketches, comics, and video games. Working alongside Matt and Sharayah through several projects over the years, the quest of thrilling tales and laughter in the face of absurdity had taken hold in the fold of Fish in Suits.

Falling in love with actual plays and the TTRPG community, he enlisted the aid of colleagues and friends in the creation of D4Galore. Now he can’t stop thinking of anything but the next adventure on the horizon and gushes with joy for each and every chapter

Sharayah Piercey

Writer and DM for D4G, Producer, Assistant Editor

Sharayah Piercey has been a writer/editor for 10 years and counting. She’s written for anything from short story anthologies to video games, as well as slightly less glamorous things like technical manuals and eLearning courses. She studied at MacEwan University and was one of the last graduates of their Professional Writing program.

Though her dream as a child was to be a published author, Sharayah has found joy in storytelling through visual media and TTRPGs. Fish in Suits was a natural progression on her journey to finding new ways to tell stories. She hopes you feel the passion and heart that goes into these creations and become engrossed in these fishy tales.

Just kidding, Nicole is a real human.

Nicole is a full time web developer and general nerd. She specializes in being able to learn rules but sucks at writing her own bios. She’s an awkward little penguin and will hide behind a screen rather than be in front of a camera.

Regular Fish Friends

John Kruitbosch

John works in IT full time and spends his non-work hours looking for excuses to hang with the homies. Whether at a physical table, through the magic of the world wide webs, or rolling down the road to visit cool small town locales.

He’s also taken on the role of the chef during filming, making sure everyone is well fed when filming for 8-10 hours straight. If he can make his friends laugh, his heart grows two sizes. Also he apologizes for covering his mouth way too often while filming.

Desirae Hogan

Desirae Hogan is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in painting and textile upcycling. In pursuing a passion for creating, she studied Jewellery and Metal Design at AUArts, hosted her own painting stream under the pseudonym Valtressa, refined her fine art practice under Desirae Hogan Dark Art, started her own sustainable small fashion line DHDA Reclaimed, and works with two independent Canadian fashion companies in production and design.

Desirae developed an interest in dark media and a passion for storytelling and character creation at a young age that continues to influence all her creative endeavours. She is excited to share her characters and character art with fishy friends through the interactive medium of D4G.
